The New York Knicks will battle the Washington Wizards on December 25 at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York.

The Knicks (5-25) are looking to avoid a possible six game losing streak when they host the Wizards at the "World's Most Famous Arena."

The Knicks recently defeated the Toronto Raptors by a final score of 118-108 on Sunday afternoon after Carmelo Anthony scored 28 points in a losing effort.

"It's been to that point where I can't imagine we'd be in this situation we're in now being 5-25. What are we going to do about that at this point but play these games and try to win," said Anthony to reporters.

"We're dropping further and further, but we're in December it's hard to for me to take it easy and sit out and see what happens. I never know what's going to happen. If I sit it out, will [the knee] get better? I'm feeling it now.''

Meanwhile, the Wizards are looking to present the Knicks with another potential home loss when they invade MSG on Christmas Day.

"We were just a step behind on everything from an offensive standpoint," said Wizards head coach Randy Wittman to reporters after his team lost to the Phoenix Suns on December 21.

"I mean, they got into us. We did not react the right way to it. You have to be tougher when that happens."
