‘Warcraft’ Movie Update: Footage Shown at Comic-Con, Trailer to Release in November

Despite not being treated to a full-fledged trailer at the recently concluded San Diego 2015 Comic-Con, 'Warcraft' fans who attended the event were satisfied as they received enough information about the silver screen adaptation of the hugely popular massively multiplayer online game.

According to Christian Today, director Duncan Jones screened a lengthy footage of the upcoming 'Warcraft' film to show the fans the progress of the movie.

The video clip displayed over five minutes of scene footage from the soon-to-be-released film. In fact, it was the maiden promo video released by Legendary Pictures following the screening at the annual BlizzCon event in 2014. However, at that time the screening was attended by a much selected panel. The clip shown at the Comic-Con included impressive footage from the film, counting some intimate moments between its characters.

The footage shown at the international event featured some of the iconic 'Warcraft' characters, including Orgrim (Rob Kazinsky) and Durotan (Toby Kebbel). It showed the orc leaders talking with each other, as they walked toward an open gate. Subsequently the clip showed Dorotan his wife Draka (Anna Galvin), as they talked about the possible naming of their still born child.

After this, a montage of the city of Stormwind appeared on the screen and different Alliance characters flashed by onscreen.

Viewers saw King Llane Wrynn (Dominic Cooper) saying, "They're beasts, and they should be destroyed. If we do not unite to fight this enemy, we shall perish."

Kazinsky and Cooper along with the other stars of the film, including Travis Fimmel (the main protagonist and Alliance knight Anduin Lothar), Paula Patton (the half-elf/ half-human Garona), Ben Foster (the wizard Medivh), Ben Schnetzer (young mage Khadgar), Clancy Brown (the orc Blackhand), Ruth Negga (Stormwind's Queen-consort Lady Taria), and Daniel Wu (the ruthless Orcish warlock Gul'dan) were present during the panel.

Jones announced at the panel that the full trailer for 'Warcraft' will be released publicly in November.

'Warcraft' is slated for release on June 10, 2016.
