'Warcraft' Movie Release Date, Cast, Plot: New Trailer Glimpse Of Enchanted Dalaran City, Decisive Meeting Featured
With Duncan Jones' action adventure fantasy film "Warcraft" coming to theaters, the latest trailer suggests the kind of relationship between orcs and humans in the film, along with a premise that turns the film as the next "Lord of the Rings."
Jones released a 30-second TV spot for his upcoming film "Warcraft: The Beginning," which features new fascinating footage. Aside from the mountainous landscape seen in "Warcraft's" first trailer, the new trailer allows fans to have a glimpse of the enchanted Dalaran City in new angles. A decisive meeting between Anduin Lothar, Dorutan, and Garona is also featured in the trailer's sequences.
Among films adapted from video games, "Warcraft" seems to be doing a prodigious job of adapting the early moments between the orcs and humans, which may give room to possible sequels, as per Games Radar.
According to Collider, Jones' "Warcraft" might be the next "Lord of the Rings," if the former is handled properly. As per the publication, the last trailer for "Warcraft" promises a kind of adventure fantasy film in a "grander scale," with its dramatic weight.
Director Jones himself also shared some information on what fans could expect from the film. On Jan. 24, he tweeted a photo of the cinematic adaptation of the Hero's Call Board, the one where players pick up their quests in the game, as well as a photo of the Woadside Inn.
"Warcraft" is a three-dimensional epic adventure centering on world-colliding conflict, based on Blizzard Entertainment's globally-renowned universe. The film stars Dominic Cooper, Travis Fimmel, Ben Foster, Ben Schnetzer, Ruth Negga, Clancy Brown, Toby Kebbel, Daniel Wu, and Paula Patton.
Jones' "Warcraft" is set to be released in theaters in the United States on June 10.
