'Walking Dead' Mid-Season 5 Finale Predictions: Beth, Noah, Tyreese, Sasha, or Rosita Dies, No Cliffhanger?
The fifth season of AMC's popular zombie drama 'The Walking Dead' is set to broadcast its mid-season finale on Sunday, Nov. 29, and some predictions have surfaced about what's going to happen. Some viewers have come to terms that a major character will die in the series, and there's a good chance that it will be Beth Greene.
Starting off with Episode 8's title, "Coda," which roughly translates to the word "conclusion," a lot can be deduced about the plot, especially when considering the context. This means that there is a good chance the episode will not end in a cliffhanger, but instead bring some closure to the "Beth's hospital" plot in Season 5.
From what is known so far- based on the already aired episodes and the promotional video for the upcoming mid-season finale- Rick and Officer Dawn will barter with the lives of their group members.
One source, Cleveland, went ahead and posted a prediction that said Beth Greene was certainly going to die in the upcoming episode of 'The Walking Dead'. Apparently, the show has been building up towards this development, and her death would follow a similar format with that of the Governor in Season 4.
Viewers remember having to sit through a few episode that kept the spotlight on the Governor as the writers felt it was the best way to write him out of the series. The same can be said for Beth in Season 5, as many of the episodes solely focus on her individual bravery and valor as she remains separated from her group.
Another prediction in regards to character deaths involves Noah, as he's a relatively new character that stems from 'The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct' video game. Cleveland goes on to say that the group would contain too many party members if all of the protagonists survive, meaning that the writers will surely cross out a few names on the list.
With regards to Tyreese, he's been set up to assume the role of a martyr for a while now, as he seems to always be sacrificing himself and receiving the worst in return. Sasha might be killed off because she cannot get over the death of Bob, and Rosita has been given more lines, which might mean she's really saying her goodbyes.
Another spoilers that has been the talk of all the media outlets recently is the return of Morgan. For those who don't know who Morgan is, he's the first person that Rick Grimes encounters when he awakens and leaves the hospital back in Season 1.
Evidently, Morgan was shown in the season premiere, but has not appeared in any episodes so far. While there's a chance that he'll resurface when the series returns in February of next year, odds are fans of 'The Walking Dead' will catch him on Sunday.
