'The Voice' 2013 Season 4: Judge Blake Shelton Goes Country, While Team Shakira Shakes Things Up [VIDEO]
As American Idol winds down to it's Season 12 finale, rival reality singing show The Voice 2013 is just now heating. The Voice 2013 has reached it's top 12 after this week's performances and results show. Voice judges, Blake Shelton, Usher, Shakira and Adam Levine each have their teams of three locked, loaded and ready to take on more live performances. Here's your Top 12 Voice singers.
Team Blake this year is taking a different approach by not really doing anything...well, different. The country crooner has transformed his team in to a country powerhouse. He's got an up-and-coming Taylor Swfit in Danielle Bradberry and a bonfire friendly brother duo in The Swon Brothers. Holly Tucker is the only singer on Team Blake that seems to have a little more flexibility in the genre department.
Team Shakira has a little more diversity in her lineup. Her consistent show-stopper Sasha Allen is poised to be a clear-cut favorite in The Voice 2013. Shakira also decided to keep Garret Gardner, who The Voice producers are trying to make into their own Indie-boy band singer. Kris Thomas, master of falsetto also lives to sing another day even though his "When I Was Your Man" Bruno Mars performance left a little to be desired. Unlike Blake, Shakira was ready to get out of her comfort zone and just let the voices guide her decisions. She even eliminated her only Latina singer, Karina Iglesias. Karina's soul power just wasn't enough to get her through to next week's Top 12 episodes.
Tune in Monday for the first round of the Top 12 episodes on The Voice 2013.
