Christian music vocal trio First Call attended the National Religious Broadcasters' (NRB) Proclaim 16 Christian media convention in Nashville between Feb. 23-26, to promote their upcoming EP, "Second Birth."

Although Marty McCall could not make it to the event, Bonnie Keen and Melodie Tunney were able to promote the EP in a meet and greet with Christian media outlets like Body Builders TV, The Shaun Tabbatt Show, CRU/Campus Crusade for Christ, The Meeting House/Faith Broadcasting, and an interview with Bill Martinez Live!

"Bonnie and I enjoyed the opportunity to be at NRB, but we missed having Marty with us," Tunney said in a press release. "When we heard his voice on the phone for the interview, we were so excited! That was one of the highlights of the event!"

"Second Birth" contains six tracks featuring the trio's effortless vocals and signature blend nurtured over 30 years of being together.

"First Call has recorded 13 projects with Word Records and Warner Alliance, earned three Dove awards, been nominated for five Grammy awards, and toured nationally and internationally," according to the press release.

In the 30 years of First Call's existence, there were numerous opportunities for Keen, Tunney and McCall to work on their individual pursuits such as books, stage plays, movie features, concerts and other solo projects. However, their main goal to evangelize the good works of Christ never wavered.

There's no release date yet for First Call's new EP, but it's expected to be later this year.
