The Fast and the Furious star, Vin Diesel, announced over Facebook that the newest addition to his family has been born. In a photo shared on the social media site, Diesel is pictured with the newborn on Monday, March 16. Both appear to be in a hospital while the baby is probably in the arms of his mother, Paloma Jiménez.

The photo was captioned with lyrics from the classic Louis Armstrong song "What a Wonderful World. "I hear babies crying/ I watch them grow/ They'll learn much more/ Than I'll ever know/ And I think to myself /What a wonderful world," the caption read.

The baby's delivery date, gender and name have yet to be revealed. In past instances, the couple has kept their family life very secretive so who knows when the two will announce more details on their new baby. This is the third child Diesel and Jiménez have had together. They also have daughter Hania Riley, 6, and son Vincent Sinclair, 4.

In February, People confirmed that the couple was expecting their third child. In an interview with the magazine Diesel was certain that the late Paul Walker helped him through the first two births and that he would be watching over him while his third child was being born.

"He was an important part of my transition into fatherhood...that healthy family member, with the most positive outlook on life," he said.

Jiménez, 32, was born in Mexico and is currently a model. Diesel, 47, has starred in many films, most notably in The Fast and Furious franchise, The Chronicles of Riddick, Saving Private Ryan and recently starred as the voice of Groot in The Guardians of the Galaxy.
