'Vikings' Season 4 Release Date, News: Latest Trailer Features Old King Ragnar

The latest teaser for "Vikings" season 4 offers a sneak peek of old man Ragnar, together with his brothers and queen Aslaug.

The second part of "Vikings" season 4 will see a major turn of events, including queen Aslaug's attempt to take over the throne of Ragnar. Fans will also witness Lagertha, Ragnar's former wife, join the battle for the throne. There are rumors that aside from the two characters, another character will also make her claim for Ragnar's throne.

The new "Vikings" season 4 teaser features an aging Ragnar as he asks for forgiveness for all his failures as a king and the wrongs he had committed. For the avid fans of the series, such was quite uncharacteristic of him, considering that he has always been portrayed as a strong and mighty king.

"Vikings" season 4B will see a withering and aging king in Ragnar. It was previously reported that the king will go up against his family in the upcoming season, so this might be the reason why he appears to be filled with regret and disgrace in the new teaser.

Another report also recently featured some of the key characters in the series, including Floki who seems to already have different perspectives on things, as well as Ragnar's brother Rollo who is going through some personal struggles just like him. In the trailer, he says he cannot deny that part of him is still a Viking. Apparently, his jealousy towards Ragnar is already taking its toll on his mental state.

"Vikings" season 4 premieres on November 30 on History.
