'Vikings' Season 4 Release Date, Premiere: Princess Gisla's Hatred For Rollo Progresses?

Along with the explosive revelations, Katheryn Winnick and Clive Standen have talked what is in store for fans while Princess Gisla's hatred for Rollo progresses in "Vikings" season 4.

In her interview with History, Winnick, who plays Lagertha in the series, said that it was amazing that they were shooting "Vikings" season 4. The actress also affirmed that fans were going to see some of the original cast, which she described as "great."

Winnick added that in addition to getting to know more about their characters, what was really exciting was fans wee going to see a whole new flock of newbies and new cast members and it brought a different energy on set and it changed the show to a different level, adding that she was excited to see them and meet them.

In the same History interview, Standen, who plays Rollo on the series, said that the fans could expect to see far more excitement on the ocean, adding that when their characters were having battles on the ocean, they had longboats capsizing, Vikings fighting, and the Frankish near on the waterfront.

Standen also teased that "Vikings" season 4 is raw and harsh, adding that people died and no one was safe. For the actor, the fourth "Vikings" season was all about the struggle for power.

In 2015, "Vikings" creator Michael Hirst also told The Hollywood Reporter that Peter Franzen's King Harald Finehair and Jasper Paakkonen's Halfdan the Black, who were new Viking Siblings, would be joining Travis Fimmel's Ragnar in another attempt to penetrate Paris.

According to Zap2it, "Vikings" season 4 is set to see Ragnar lying on his sick bed in Kattegat. Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) appeals for the arrest of Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard) for killing Athelstan (George Blagden). Also, Rollo betrays his Viking supporters to boost his position while Kalf (Ben Robson) reveals joint Earldom with Lagertha (Winnick).

"Vikings" season 4 episode 1, entitled "A Good Treason" is set to premiere on Feb. 18.
