'Vikings' Season 4 Episode 11 News, Spoilers: Midseason Premiere Set To Air Later This Year?
Following rumors that "Vikings" season 4 will be back this July, it seems that fans will have to wait for a few more months before their favorite series goes on air again.
While History Channel has been silent about the midseason premiere date of the series, there are speculations that the production has decided to shelve the airing of its new episodes until later this year.
Speculations about the late-2016 premiere date of the series began to arise after a fan asked History when season 4 will return, and "Vikings" responded via its official Twitter page, "Watch the Vikings raid later this year!"
The most recent episode of "Vikings" season 4 aired last April 21 and ended with a cliffhanger.
Titled "The Last Ship," the episode featured a battle between The Franks and Ragnar, where Ragnar got defeated and went missing afterwards. Later in the episode, it was revealed that he had been living in Wessex but was set to return to Kattegat to reclaim his throne.
"Vikings" season 4, episode 11 will pick up where the previous episode left off and will reveal what is in store for Ragnar and Kattegat.
Just recently, History released a promo video for the new episode. The video reveals that the new episodes will return in fall. It also shows Ragnar telling Ivar that people will fear him someday, and teases a clash between the wives of Ragnar for the position of Queen of Kattegat.
The premiere date of "Vikings" season 4, episode 11 will remain a mystery until History makes an official announcement about it.
