The fourth of July weekend was apparently not just a celebration for the United States of America's independence since 1776. It was also the day former Miss America Vanessa Williams got married to fiancé Jim Skrip.

The two had the most brilliant idea of saying their 'I Do's' to one of the most celebrated days in the country. The now married couple even reportedly had their own fireworks not for the holiday celebration but for their wedding that their guests were quite happy about according to reports.

It was a private wedding according to several reports but Williams did however leave a few clues for her followers on her social media. She did post on that day that she was going on a road trip. "Road trip for the holiday weekend Happy 4th," she wrote on Twitter but many were stunned to know that her trip was apparently on the way to probably a church to say her marriage vows to Skrip.

Williams indeed pulled a good one since there were no photos that went viral from the ceremony. There aren't even any details about the guests who attended the said event and if it was indeed a simple or elaborate celebration.

Nevertheless, Williams' fans and supporters are indeed happy for she finally found love once again for the third time as she had been married twice before with Ramon Hervey ll and basketball star Rick Fox.

Williams previously revealed during her interview with Queen Latifah at her show that she got engaged to her husband now. "I got engaged. I have had a lot of good things happen while I've been on this lovely trip," she revealed at the Queen Latifah Show sharing the dramatic journey she experienced and being blessed along the way. "I turned 50 when we were in rehearsal on Broadway, I just got engaged a couple of weeks ago...It has been a lot of blessings on this trip."
