Tension will emerge between two vampire factions in "Van Helsing" season 1, episode 7.

Titled "For Me," the upcoming episode will follow Vanessa and Axe as they hold the fort in the hospital's last stand against a siege, which was instigated by Julius and his troop of vampire soldiers. Elsewhere in the episode, Dmitri will emerge with his vampire underlings known as the "Death Squad," which could prompt a civil war between the two factions of vampires.

In the promo trailer for the episode, Vanessa and her group are shown doing their best to handle the siege. However, it looks like another huge trouble is looming their way because of the unexpected arrival of Dmitri and his vampire group.

Recently, the Syfy network confirmed that the dark fantasy series will be renewed for another season. The second season will consist of 13 episodes and its production is set to begin sometime in January 2017.

"We have a wonderful and terrifying road ahead planned for Vanessa, her allies and her enemies. I think this is a world and a story that can be sustained for many years and I am inspired to do so thanks to Syfy's obvious trust and commitment in the storytellers, cast and crew," said showrunner Neil LaBute.

LaBute also revealed that what drives Vanessa throughout season 1 is her search for her missing daughter. He said that while she has the ability to save anyone, her goal is not to protect others but just to find her missing child.
