The January 22^nd winter premiere of 'The Vampire Diaries' is sure to be action-packed as viewers eagerly await more action and drama from Elena, Kai, Caroline, and the rest of the cast. Moving into its sixth season, 'The Vampire Diaries' will see the arrival of a new character, as well as the death of a major one.

'The Vampire Diaries' plays to the familiar tune of a mortal girl trapped in a love triangle with two vampire brothers. The show has a well-established fan base that eagerly awaits the upcoming season.

As Caroline attempts to find the antidote to Sheriff Forbes' disease, she will discover Stefan is aiming to rebuild some common ground between the two of the them.
