'Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Episode 11 Spoilers: Mid-Season Premiere Synopsis Released
Following the Winter hiatus of CW's popular supernatural drama, 'The Vampire Diaries', fans are looking to find out what's going to happen in Episode 11. The next episode of the series is entitled, "Woke Up With a Monster," and airs on January 22, 2015.
According to a synopsis for the episode published by iBTimes, "Kai (Chris Wood) will still be in the picture wreaking havoc on the poor Mystic Falls crew. ... With the Traveler magic pulsing through him, Kai will be more powerful than ever."
It went on to say, "However, the mid-season premiere will find Kai uncertain on how to 'control his newly acquired magic', and he will hold Elena captive as he figures it out. Fortunately for Elena, Damon will figure out that his pesky nemesis has her in his grasp. He'll immediately try to rescue his beloved, but nothing is ever that easy on 'The Vampire Diaries'."
The report went on to say that Damon will not be the only character to have a problem with Kai in Episode 11. Apparently, Jo will also be preparing for something similar as she aims for a merge ceremony. However, it has not been spoiled whether or not she has the power to defeat her brother.
In regards to that, rumor has it that Jo will appear to be strong at first, but in the end, Liv and Luke will learn that in terms of magic, she's actually pretty weak.
Beyond that, Sheriff Forbes, played by Marguerite MacIntyre, will return to her home after her stay in the hospital. However, Caroline, played by Candice Accola, will be surprisingly absent from her mother's bedside.
Fans will learn that her absence simply means bigger and better things as she and Stefan go in search of a cure for her mother's cancer. Nevertheless, Stefan still keeps his secret from Caroline, so it should be interesting to see how that card is played.
Evidently, Stefan has his own ulterior motives despite joining Caroline in her quest to save her mother's life.
On that note, fans can expect to catch 'The Vampire Diaries' Season 6 mid-season premiere when it airs on The CW Thursday, Jan. 22, at 8 pm EST.
