‘Vampire Diaries’ and ‘Big Bang Theory’ News, Episode Spoilers: Shows will not Air on Thursday

It is disappointing for fans of 'The Vampire Diaries' on the CW and 'The Big Bang Theory' on CBS, as these networks have decided not to air the regularly scheduled episodes on Thursday, March 26.

According to IB Times, both 'The Vampire Diaries' and 'The Big Bang Theory' are currently on a brief hiatus. 'The Big Bang Theory' will return with the episode titled 'The Skywalker Incursion' on April 2, while fans will be able to watch 'The Vampire Diaries' on April 26 when the supernatural television drama returns with the next episode titled 'I Never Could Love Like That.'

However, fans can still whet their appetites and know what expect when their favorite television series return from hiatus. Here are some spoilers of the upcoming episodes of 'The Big Bang Theory' and 'The Vampire Diaries.'

In the upcoming Season 8 Episode 19 of 'The Big Bang Theory,' fans will see Sheldon and Leonard going on a road trip. On the way, they stop at 'Star Wars' director George Lucas' house, but things will not turn out the way Sheldon would like them to.

As far as the other characters of the show are concerned, they will be seen using their free time to help Howard clean his old house since Mrs. Wolowitz is dead. Nevertheless, fans will also see a battle between Howard and his wife Bernadette over the former's Dr. Who TARDIS.

The show will also feature a Ping Pong match, which will be organized with a view to settle the dispute. Penny, Amy, and Raj will be seen taking sides in the match.

In the Season 6 Episode 18 of 'The Vampire Diaries' titled 'I Never Could Love Like That' fans will eventually see Stefan getting to meet his mother, Lily Salvatore, who was imprisoned so long. Since Stefan has turned off his humanity switch, Elena and Damon will bring into play Lily as his emotional trigger. Fans will have to wait till April 26 to know if their plan works.

In this episode of 'The Vampire Diaries,' fans will also see the return of Matt and Tyler, who were seen for the last time in the episode titled 'Let Her Go.' In addition, fans may also get further glimpses into Lily's past as well as the events that led to her being locked up in the prison world. However, it is still uncertain whether the episode will show what became of Chris Wood's Kai.
