New reports are claiming that Usher got engaged to his longtime girlfriend and business partner Grace Miguel. For those that may not know, the couple has been dating since 2009.

The singer recently proposed to his partner for five years, according to People Magazine. The couple started seeing each other after Usher's split with his ex-wife Tameka Foster in November, 2009.

The newly engaged couple recently made a red carpet appearance together at the Golden Globes Art of Elysium Heaven Gala in Los Angeles over the weekend, according to E! News. All one could talk about the gigantic that Miguel was wearing at the event. A source close to the couple was quoted saying, "They are extremely happy and the way it was done was very sweet and romantic. He can't wait to spend the rest of his life with her. His boys love her as well! She gets along with them great."

A source close to the bride-to-be was quoted saying, "She's happy but they're trying to keep it quiet," according to Us Weekly.

Miguel - who's eight years older than her groom-to-be - has worked with Usher for three years, according to an October profile in Billboard Magazine. "I have an incredible partner and manager," Usher said of Miguel, "She has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life and my career," he said, according to the magazine.

The battle for the custody for his two sons, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Eli went until 2012, when he was granted custody to the kids. The kids now live with their father in Atlanta.
