'UnREAL' Season 2 Finale (Episode 10) Recap, Spoilers: Jeremy Has Coleman And Yael Killed

The final episode of "UnREAL" season 2 determined the future of "Everlasting."

While Coleman and Yael were resolute to reveal all the dirty secrets of the show, Rachel and Quinn tried to save their jobs by barging into his office and making sure that all the secrets he was about to expose about "Everlasting" would not see the light of the day. However, Jeremy, upon learning that his former girlfriend had been raped, did the unexpected just so he could win back her trust. As the episode came to a close, news about Coleman and Yael's car having been run off the road broke out.

The season finale saw Quinn plot to blindside Darius, but she got a surprise of her own when Rachel and Jay reunited him with ex-contestant Ruby. While the couple did not end up getting hitched or engaged, the reunion was close to a fairytale, and it left both Chantal and Tiffany's rejections as footnotes.

"Guess it turns out you were the showrunner after all. History made," said Quinn.

Things got worse when the episode turned toward issues of mental illness. Coleman visited Jeremy in a grimy bar to convince him to join them in taking down "Everlasting." However, when he heard about what happened with Rachel, he became sympathetic to her plight and had Coleman and Yael killed in a car crash.

The end of the episode was parallel to the season 2 finale. Rachel and Quinn were shown sitting outside on set, exchanging glances. However, Chery and Jeremy were between them this time. The four of them carried the burden of what Jeremy had to do to ensure the protection of his work family.  And while Quinn and Rachel were in a better place in the season finale, they weren't really united.

The "UnREAL" season 2 finale aired on Aug. 8 on Lifetime.
