'Unreal' Season 2 Episode 8 Spoilers: Coleman Discovers Something Unexpected?

A new discovery will take Coleman by surprise following the incident involving Darius in episode 8 of "Unreal" season 2.

In the upcoming episode titled "Fugitive," Rachel shares something confidential to Coleman after the mess that Darius got involved in. On the other hand, Quinn tries to keep her feelings for John under wraps as she deals with her own share of hullabaloos on set. Chet also wins the attention of someone really unexpected.

The promo trailer for the episode shows Quinn cautioning Coleman that it is the end of his career as a television producer. Before Coleman even gets to defend himself, Quinn cuts him off. Meanwhile, Coleman brings Rachel to her parents' care, knowing that it is where she needs to be. He then convinces her to reveal the truth in front of a camera which he sets up himself. The clip shows Dr. Goldberhg, Rachel's mother, asking her daughter to pretend as if nothing happened. He even threatens her that if she does not, no one will love her.

Meanwhile, co-creator Sarah Gertrude Shapiro explained during her interview with The Hollywood Reporter why the current season of the series tackles important social issues, particularly race. The series creator revealed that having a black suitor on the show was something she really had to pore over. She revealed that she also asked for the opinion of Ariana Jackson, one of the writers of the series who is also a woman of color.

"I just deeply respect her. Part of it was that the issue of black bodies and black safety felt so pressing," she said.

"Unreal" season 2 airs every Monday, 10:00 P.M. on Lifetime.
