Following several months of anticipation, Naughty Dog and Sony have finally disclosed the release date for 'Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.' The game will come to PlayStation 4 on March 18, 2016 and fans can choose to pre-order from two different editions, in addition to a deluxe digital version - a first for the series.

According to IB Times, fans pre-ordering the game can choose between two different editions: the Special Edition and the Libertalia Collector's Edition. The PlayStation Blog reports that both versions will come with the main game, a steelbook case for the CD, a 48-page art book as well as some early multiplayer content offering an early lead against other players.

In fact, the Libertalia Collector's Edition offers a few goodies that will not be available with the Special Edition - a premium statue of "Uncharted" protagonist Nathan Drake and direct access to certain multiplayer unlockables. The Special Edition of the game is priced at $79.99, while the Libertalia Collector's Edition will be available for $119.99.

It is interesting to note that when Sony featured the Digital Deluxe Edition of 'Uncharted 4,' it was disclosed that the game will have an extra single-player add-on. PlayStation users, who would pre-order the Digital Deluxe version, will get immediate access to the first single-player add-on of the game when it is made available.

In fact, single-player downloadable content (DLC) is nothing new to gamers, but this will be the first time that the 'Uncharted' series will be having extra content that was not available in the game's multiplayer mode. While it has not been revealed whether the game will get more single-player content, it appears to be likely that the DLC has been revealed.

Those who missed the chance on the first three 'Uncharted' games for the PlayStation 3 will be lucky this time, as it has been announced that 'Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection' will be released this October. The collection will be made available with improved visuals and the complete multiplayer DLC that was released earlier.
