'Uncharted 4' News, Spoilers: Is Naughty Dog’s Title Going To Lose Nathan Drake?
Along with the Double Relic Weekend of Naughty Dog's "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," new details on the title's plot have surfaced and as per reports, Nathan Drake may die.
Title director Neil Druckmann suggested Drake's death in "A Thief's End" In an interview with Writers Guild of America podcast, he said that it had felt like Drake had not had too many places left to, adding that one way to maintain the series' tone while making it definitive was to kill him.
While Drake's death is feasible in the title, Druckmann clarified that it might not be the best idea. In the same interview, he said that they had decided that tonally, killing Drake would not be right for the action-adventure series, which he described as "lighthearted."
In other news, Naughty Dog revealed details on the title's Double Relic Weekend, Game N Guide has learned. As per the publication, players are set to receive addition 50 percent Relic bonus per Multiplayer Challenge they complete.
"Uncharted 4" is Naughty Dog's action-adventure video game. Its "A Thief End" title serves as the final chapter of the "Uncharted" game series. Set several years following the events in "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception," it centers on protagonist Drake who reunited with his older sibling Sam and partner Sully to look for clues on the location of Captain Henry Avery's treasure.
Naughty Dog's "Uncharted 4" was initially released for the PlayStation 4 on May 10.
