The defending 2014 NCAA Champion Huskies (11-7) are expecting to lengthen their current winning streak to three games when they battle their AAC opponent Cincinnati Bearcats on Tuesday night.

"It's tough, but you're playing a tough team. The environment is tough, but it's the tough team you're playing - you've got to execute on the defense end and make it tough scoring," said UCONN head coach Kevin Ollie to reporters.

"We're going to have to have some big performances from our guys. We're going to have to execute down the stretch and make free throws, and the most important thing is take care of the basketball and beat them on the boards."

Previously, the Huskies defeated another American Athletic Conference challenger South Florida Bulls by a final score of 66-53 (on January 25) where UCONN guard Ryan Boatright scored 28 points in the game.

"I just told myself I'm going to be aggressive the rest of the way, and that's what I did," said Boatright to reporters.

"They gave me shots and I created some shots for myself and I knocked them down."

Meanwhile, the Bearcats (14-5) are hoping to extend their winning streak to four games when they host the current NCAA Tournament Champions.

"It's gonna be a rockfight," said Cincinnati interim head coach Larry Davis to reporters.

"They're really good defensively, hopefully we'll be really good defensively. It's gonna come down to some guys making some shots and who wins the rebounding title."

Previously, the Bearcats defeated the American Athletic Conference adversary the UCF Knights by a final score of 63-56 (this past Sunday) where Cincinnati forward Octavius Ellis totaled 8 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks in the victory.
