Tyler The Creator News: Rapper Talks About the Worst Jobs He's Ever Had [VIDEO]
In a recent appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' rap artist Tyler the Creator opened up about his life before entertainment and spoke on some of the worst jobs he held.
The two jobs he recalled as the worst was one he held at FedEx for a very short time, and one at Starbucks thereafter.
"I worked at Starbuck and FedEx and oh my God," he told host Jimmy Kimmel. "Horrible."
"FedEx was so depressing," he said. "There were just older dudes, like, just pushing boxes but OK with it and it scared the living hell out of me. So I quit after a week and four days."
The 24 year old rapper worked at Starbucks afterwards for two and a half years. While he described most of his time there as fairly comfortable, he encountered a certain conflict of interest with a new manager.
"This lady named Cindy, she was a new manager, she hated on me and she fired me and I hope she's watching 'cause I still hate her," he said. "I hate you so much! I hate you, Cindy!"
"Her firing me was the greatest moment of our life," he told Kimmel. "Ugh, my chains [were] free!"
Kimmel then asked Tyler if he was a good employee, in which he answered, "I mean, I w-...look, hey, I was nice, I was cool with people, man, I liked talking to people, I didn't kiss [butt] to the people who worked there and the manager and I think she found that intimidating. Also, I was the youngest there, so I had that attitude, like, 'Worse comes to worse, I can find another job' and I think she didn't like that."
