Twitter Update Details: New Refreshing Look, Changed Invitations, Easy Tweets

Twitter users will be excited to learn that they will have a better and easier time posting tweets on their social networking profiles from now on, as Twitter has just released an update for their website.

Twitter went through a complete overhaul as their web site has changed visually; adding trees, clouds and waterfalls. This will give the site a more refreshing and natural look when sign in.

Another interesting change and update involves what they've done to their invitations.

According to the Twitter blog, "We made [updating their invitations] it so you can invite friends from the web or your phone."

This will make it easier to add friends to your Twitter account. To invite a friend via phone, send a text to 40404 with the word "add" and then your friend's phone number. To invite multiple friends, click on "add friend" or "Invite!" at Twitter.com and then enter their email addresses.

Twitter also included new badges for your Twitter account, which let "your myspace friends know why you're not online". There are two customizable Twitter badges that the user can choose from. One badge uses Flash and you can choose your preferred color from a color scheme. The second badge uses JavaScript to create a simple line of text that you can apply your own design with CSS or HTML.

Mobile Texting Lingo is another cool update that Twitter has done. With this update, "most of the stuff you can do at [Twitter] can also be done by texting simple commands to 40404." This means that you can update your status, add friends, turn mobile updates on or off and much more.

With these updates, Twitter users worldwide should find using Twitter easier to use, more user friendly, and revamped with a refreshing look.
