'Twilight' News: Special Re-Release as 'Twilight' Celebrates its 10th Anniversary

Who would have noticed that it is already a decade since Twilight was first released? Yes, that was 10 years ago, credits to the author Stephanie Meyer who introduced the mysterious character of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen to the world.

And now, as a celebration of this new milestone, Little, Brown Books will release a special edition that is set next month.

Mark your calendars! The special re-release will be happening on October 6 which will include exclusive bonus content. And of course, Meyer, will take part in various events next month such as the New York Comic-Con and book signings.

"It's amazing to me that 10 years have passed since Twilight was first published. For me, this anniversary is a celebration of the fans, with all of their incredible passion and dedication. I'm excited to get to spend time with them again," Meyer said in a statement.

Megan Tingley, the public and EVP of Little, Brown Books for young readers also expressed his feelings to this great milestone as she stated, "I felt the same thrill reading this special anniversary edition as I did when I read the manuscript a decade ago. I'm pleased we have this opportunity for devoted fans to relive the extraordinary Twilight experience, as well as for a new generation of readers to discover it for the very first time."

Since the release of Twilight last 2005, the series became a New York Time best-seller. More than 120 million copies were sold worldwide including its sequels Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.

The film franchise starred by Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen and Kristen Steward as Bella Swan also became a blockbuster hit.
