With January 2015 on the horizon, TV watchers are getting ready to catch the most popular female led shows in their new seasons. Fans can expect to see new episodes of 'Pretty Little Liars' and 'Cougar Town', as well as an entirely new series, Marvel's 'Agent Carter' next year.

For those that don't know, Marvel's 'Agent Carter' is a spin-off from the well-known Marvel movie franchise, 'Captain America'. Beyond the new TV series, a fan favorite, 'Cougar Town', is set to premiere its sixth season via TBS on January 6.

However, if you're looking for a haunting drama, watch 'American Horror Story' when its returns with its mid-season premiere. For the next few episodes, famous actor Neil Patrick Harris is going to make a guest appearance.
