TV Premiere Dates 2015: 'American Horror Story', 'Orphan Black'

With January 2015 on the horizon, TV watchers are getting ready to catch the most popular female led shows in their new seasons. Fans can expect to see new episodes of 'Pretty Little Liars' and 'Cougar Town', as well as an entirely new series, Marvel's 'Agent Carter' next year.

For those that don't know, Marvel's 'Agent Carter' is a spin-off from the well-known Marvel movie franchise, 'Captain America'. Agent Carter is represented in the movie as Captain America's love interest, and in the spin-off series her background is revealed more specifically as a gun-slinging, hardened American agent.

Beyond the new TV series, a fan favorite, 'Cougar Town', is set to premiere its sixth season via TBS on January 6.

However, if you're looking for a haunting drama, watch 'American Horror Story' when its returns with its mid-season premiere. For the next few episodes, famous actor Neil Patrick Harris is going to make a guest appearance.

But if that show does not suit your tastes, watch the mid-season premiere of 'How to Get Away with Murder'. This show has had its actors and actresses nominated several times, and its Season 1 continuation airs Thursday, January 29th.

Moving along, February and March brings about the premieres of action, fantastical dramas like 'Once Upon a Time'. This series will be going into its fourth season, and it will be bringing back a familiar cast and an even more familiar villains, such as Maleficent.

Last but not least, patient fans will be excited to hear about the April 2015 premieres, including 'First Peoples' on PBS, and 'Orphan Black' on BBC America. No matter what genre of show viewers are looking to next year, there are series for every type of fan premiering in 2015.
