'Trove' Mac Release Date News: Trion Worlds Hack-n-Slash' Title Launches for Mac
Apple and Mac fanatics were happy to learn 'Trove' has finally been released in a new Mac client format. First word of this new releases was reported on August 6, and since then, gamers were waiting to get their hands on a copy of the game.
For those that may not know, 'Trove' is a hack-n-slash title that brings into play many procedurally generated dungeons. This means that gamers can be sure to see something different and something new every time they venture out into the game's world.
Trion Worlds, the developers behind the game, have released some impressive statistics on the game since its PC release back in July. Since that initial launch, 'Trove' has picked up a whopping 3.3 million players.
Beyond that, statistics show that players have created over 160 of their own dungeons, over 4000 different equipment styles, and over 450,000 club worlds. Judging by these numbers it makes sense that Trion Worlds would go ahead with their plan for a Mac version of the game.
However, there is one small snag with the 'Trove' client on Mac, it only works on OSX Mountain Lion. While this seems rather restrictive to Apple based gamers, there's still a chance the game is going to work on other operating systems in the future.
While there is no official word on that, gamers who may not know much about the title should check out the official trailer reveal posted below:
