'Trespasser' New DLC News: Trailer for 'Trespasser', Dragon Age: Inquisition’s Follow-Up Content Released
Gamer followers of Dragon Age: Inquisition were given a glimpse into the world of Trespass, the hit game's highly-anticipated follow-up game when its trailer was officially released a few weeks after it was accidentally leaked.
In the trailer, gamers see that the story picks up two years down the line from the original plot, and promises to finish off the main story in a gigantic finale, the "last adventure" that was hinted at in a leaked BioWare survey this past June.
The storyline is completely new and "explores what it's like to be a world-saving organization when the world no longer needs saving," according to the trailer.
The trailer also hints at the return of a particular character that will excite fans who completed the original game.
Trespasser offers fans the opportunity to "talk with old friends, uncover a new threat, and ultimately decide the fate of the Inquisition you worked so hard to build," according to Mike Laidlaw of BioWare's statement on the Dragon Age website.
He goes on to say "It might just contain hints about the future of Thedas, too."
The trailer teased: "Decide the fate of the Inquisition in this exciting, final single-player DLC!"
Players will need to have completed the single-player main story campaign with a character before they can access the Trespasser DLC.
Once they have accessed the new game, the Golden Nug statue will be added to Haven and Stronghold in exciting new and pre-endgame playthroughs similar to New Game +.
Unlike New Game's playthroughs, however, playthroughs of Trespasser will be compatible with those that players have previously started, thus growing their collection.
The 8th September release date hinted at in the leaked video has not been confirmed by BioWare, however the developer has said the announcement of the final DLC is early because of the need for a character to have completed the first story.
