'Transformers: The Last Knight' Release Date, Trailer News: First Official Trailer Coming Next Week

The next installment of the "Transformers" franchise is starting to create buzz as its first official trailer is scheduled to arrive next week.

The trailer for "Transformers: The Last Knight" will debut in theaters and then hit the web shortly after. While that is more than enough to thrill fans, that is not the only good news.

Consumer Protection BC confirmed that the first trailer for the film has been certified and rated for arrival on IMAX, along with "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." The trailer will reportedly run for two minutes, which is somewhat long for a teaser trailer.

Films normally create footages specifically for their trailers rather than extracting actual scenes from the movie itself. However, the "Transformers" sequel has been in production for months now, so fans can expect to see some footages from the actual film. This teaser trailer will be out online sometime after its theater debut.

As of this writing, little is known about the "Transformers: The Last Knight."

In other news, the script for the Bumblebee spin-off has already been completed. According to reports, Paramount Pictures has recently received a copy of the script from writer Christina Hodson, who is one of the newest additions to the film's pool of writers. Rumor has it that Paramount will already start making offers to directors to have the film lined up for summer 2018 release.

"Transformers: The Last Knight" is expected to hit theaters on June 23, 2017, while the untitled Bumblebee spinoff is scheduled to be released on June 8, 2018.
