The making of the fifth installment of Transformers, the science fiction action film based on the toy line of the same name, continues to remain shrouded in mystery. While some information about 'Transformers 5', especially the characters and the makers, are circulating on the Internet, fans are still wondering what they can expect from the upcoming movie.

However, two things are confirmed. Both director Michael Bay and lead actor Mark Wahlberg will not be associated with 'Transformers 5'.

Meanwhile, Megan Fox has expressed her desire to return to the franchise, and even Shia LeBeouf is likely to join the cast. At the same time, Crossmap has reported that Jonathan Liebesman, who directed 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles', may direct the fifth installment of Transformers. But, at this stage, these are just rumors. While these reports have yet to be confirmed, fans keep wondering about the plot of the upcoming movie.

There are rumors that fans will see an entire new mechanoid gang in 'Transformers 5'. They will feature on both sides - the Autobots as well as the Decepticons. It is being speculated that Optimus Prime will include Red Alert, Override, and Ultra Magnus on his team.

According to IBTimes, it will take some time for Optimus Prime to travel to see his creators with a view to discover light involving the events in 'Transformers: Age of Extinction'. The website also says that this may possibly provoke Ultra Magnus to acquire everything Optimus Prime leaves behind.

However, the animosity between the two will certainly become more intense; keeping in view that now Galvatron will reportedly include Blitzwing, Scourge, and Cyclonus.
