Tracy Morgan Car Crash News: Actor Spotted After Settling Lawsuit with Walmart

Hollywood celebrity Tracy Morgan recently stepped out in New York City looking healthy and able to walk after a previous multi-vehicle accident last year. This was the first time that Morgan was spotted outside after settling the lawsuit involving him and Walmart.

The accident left Morgan's friend James McNair dead but Morgan was able to survive with critical injuries and hospitalization. Just recently, it has also been reported that Morgan and Walmart have come to an amicable settlement just yesterday.

Even though the details are of course confidential, Walmart U.S. President however released a statement announcing the peaceful negotiations they had with Morgan. "Our thoughts continue to go out to everyone that was involved in the accident," Greg Foran, Walmart U.S. president and CEO, said in a statement.

"While we know there is nothing that can change what happened, Walmart has been committed to doing what's right to help ensure the well-being of all of those who were impacted by the accident. We worked closely with Mr. Morelli, and we are pleased to have reached an amicable settlement that ends this litigation. We are deeply sorry that one of our trucks was involved." Foran added.

Meanwhile, the settlement talks seemed to have been worked out well as Morgan's attorney also released a statement announcing their appreciation for Walmart for taking responsibility. "Walmart and I worked diligently to reach this settlement for the plaintiffs and their families. Walmart took full responsibility for the accident, which we greatly appreciate," Morgan's attorney Benedict P. Morelli said.

And for the victim himself, Morgan was indeed satisfied with the actions of Walmart in their settlement releasing a statement himself saying, "Walmart did right by me and my family, and for my associates and their families. I am grateful that the case was resolved amicably."
