'Toy Story 4' Release Date News, Plot Spoilers: Film Going To Come Out 2019?

John Lasseter and Josh Cooley's "Toy Story 4's" release date has been moved. As per reports, it is set to be in 2019.

According to Pixar, as cited by Variety, the release date of "Toy Story 4" would be moved from 2018 to June 21, 2019. As per the publication, the game is set to be out between an untitled DC Comics film and "Transformers 7"

Lasseter explained what the "Toy Story" characters were like for them. In a statement, as cited by Oh My Disney, he said that they loved the characters so much, as they were like family to them. He added that they did not want to do anything with them unless it lived up to or surpassed what was gone before.

"Toy Stoy 3 ended Woody and Buzz's stormy with Andy so perfectly that for a long time, e never even talked about doing another Toy Story movie," Lasseter said. "But when Andrew, Pete, Lee, and I came up with this new idea, I just could not stop thinking about it," he said.

For Lasseter, the idea had been so exciting to him and he had known they had to make the movie, and he had wanted to direct it himself. As per the report, "Toy Story 4" sees a new chapter in Woody and Buzz's lives.

The film stars the voices of Blake Clark, Jodi Benson, Don Rickies, Jeff Garlin, Laurie Metcalf, Bonnie Hunt, Annie Potts, Tim Allen, Patricia Arquette, Joan Cusack, and Tom Hanks, among others. Lasseter and Cooley co-direct the film while Rashida Jones and Woll McCormack are on board to pen the the screenplay.

Overall, Lasseter and Cooley's "Toy Story 4" is slated to be released on June 21.
