'Tokyo Ghoul' Season 3 Release Date Rumors Update: Madhouse To Take Over? Anime Going To Arrive In March 2017
Along with talks that Madhouse is set to take over the production of "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3, it is rumored that the hit anime series is set to arrive in 2017.
"Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 is set to premiere in March 2017, if recent rumors are true. The major reason behind the delay is the lack of material to work with. It has been indicated in the anime community that series that are faithful to their manga counterpart are usually successful, as evidenced by the positive feedback from fans and viewers.
It has also been mentioned that production of the series will commence, depending on the availability of the source material. But since there is inadequate material to work with, fans will have to wait at least until the third month of 2017.
In line with the story plot for "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3, it is rumored that the next season is set to be dark just like its predecessors, with Madhouse taking over.
According to Anime Maru, Madhouse is set to push through and will be telling the story of Touka's descent into college application.
In an interview with the website, "Tokyo Ghoul" writer "Bob" (not his real name) said that it was perhaps the most disillusioning, psychological, and darkest plot line that they have attempted to adapt. He added that they hoped to remain as faithful as possible to the source material, though they could not guarantee that gorier scenes, such as Touka's standardized exam taking would not be censored.
