'Titanfall 2' Release Date, News: Respawn Prepping Up To Launch This October?
Respawn Entertainment is prepping up for its upcoming game's release. Titanfall 2 is set to launch on October 28th and a lot of people are looking forward to playing it online once it comes out.
The developers of the game needs to make sure that their servers don't get any issues when thousands (if not millions) of people log in. According to Christian Daily, Respawn Entertainment acknowledged their avid fans' questions and concerns about their servers crashing down if ever "Titanfall 2" won't be able to handle the volume of their gamers.
"Since Titanfall 2 will have a bigger launch this time, I wanted to make sure that we have the highest possible calability and reliability, and have low-latency, fast servers," lead engineer, Jon Shiring said via Titanfall's official website.
"This time we're still running on Azure, but we're also on the other clouds as well as 'bare metal' servers running in datacenters. We want fast servers running everywhere, ready for you when you want to get into a match."
When "Titanfall" was launched back in 2014, the game had a couple of problems with its servers during its launch date. They will be more prepared this time around; knowing what to expect. Gamers would just have to wait and see if the developers of the game have indeed learned from their mistakes. Titanfall is a multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. The second installment of the franchise will be available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the PC.
