‘Titanfall 2’ Release Date News: Respawn Entertainment Will Not Showcase Game at E3, Launch Unlikely in 2015
Video gamer developer Respawn Entertainment has announced that it will not be unveiling any new game at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015 gaming conference. This means that fans will also miss the much-anticipated multiplayer first-person shooter video game 'Titanfall 2.'
According to Christian Today, Respawn Entertainment CEO Vince Zampella made this announcement recently via Twitter. However, fans of the game are still hoping that the game studio will change its plans and unveil the game at the upcoming gaming conference and also release it later this year.
Several fans, who were expecting the game studio to come out at least with a trailer of the upcoming game at the E3 2015, find Zampella's announcement to be very strange.
Earlier, there were rumors 'Titanfall 2' may be announced at the upcoming E3 and, surprisingly enough, this was confirmed by none other than Zampella, the same person who tweeted that 'Titanfall 2' will not be showcased at the Electronic Entertainment Expo from June 16-18 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
While the sequel is not coming out at E3, fans do have a consolation, as the company is said to be currently working on a sequel. This was announced by Zampella himself in March. At that time, he said that they were yet to decide on an official name for the sequel of the first-person shooter game.
Zampella further said that they were creating a second team and that the upcoming game would be playable in multiplatforms. This means that the gamer can play the game on the PS4 and maybe even on the PS3. Earlier, there were only game versions for the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and the PC.
It appears that this is one of the reasons for the delay in releasing 'Titanfall 2.' However, Zampella emphasized that the company will return to the drawing boards for the sequel. He also shared that there is a second team on board that will address the small issues.
