'Titanfall 2' Release Date, News Update: New Titan Classes Added: Ion, Scorch And Ronin
New details on the gameplay of Respawn Entertainment's "Titanfall 2" have surfaced and according to reports, the game has added new Titan classes to the mix.
Respawn announced the said Titan classes, along with new features, at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or the E3 2016, Xbox has learned. As per the publication, players are now able to choose among six various Titans, who have their own power and skills set. It is further revealed that soldiers are also divided into classes, which suggests that coming up with the best combination of the duo defines a players chance's of being victorious in the game
The game developer revealed some of the six Titans at the E3 and they were Ion, who can tote laser canons, and Scorch, who can give enemies a series of incendiary rounds, along with a flamethrower. Respawn also unveiled the half samurai, half robot Titan named Ronin on its tweet on June 15.
Along with the tweet is a video, which sees Ronin's skills set, which includes gunning and sword wielding. According to Screen Rant, Ronin is also share the killer sword for creating arc waves, as well as preventing incoming shots. Thus, it is assumed that Ronin is set to be stronger when the game title comes out.
In 2013, "Titanfall" producer Drew McCoy shared his thoughts on the game at the EB Games Expo in Australia. In a statement, as cited by Polygon, McCoy said that there were so many games now that were just retreading old ground. He also mentioned that they had got characters and a story, along with moments that people can expect from single-player games. For McCoy, they were putting all into a multiplayer game.
Respawn Entertainment's "Titanfall 2" is set to be released for the Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, and PlayStation 4 in December.
