'Titanfall 2' News: Steve Fukuda, Jon Shring Talk Multiplayer And Network Features
Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment's "Titanfall 2" is coming soon and in line with this, game director Steve Fukuda and lead engineer Jon Shring talked about the multiplayer and networks feature, respectively.
In his interview with Shack News, Fukuda discussed how "Titanfall 2's" multiplayer mode would improve the pilot and Titan dynamics fans have seen in the first title and he mentioned about the Guard Mode. He said the game characters really aggressively and properly used their full panel of abilities, as opposed to before they used Vortex Shield.
According to Fukuda, if the player had Scorch and put him on Guard mode, he was going to use the Flame Shield, Thermite Launcher, the canisters, and everything else. For the game director, that was one of the major improvements to how the multiplayer worked.
Meanwhile, Shring discussed "Titanfall 2's" latest feature, the Networks feature, which is a guild system players can create with other players. In a interview with Game Spot, he said that they had been amazed by te creativity and fun that gamers had brought to the game through their own Networks, adding that the feature had been made for real humans to use and no simulation could prove that it would be successful like real people could.
"Titanfall 2" is Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment's forthcoming first-person shooting video game and sequel to "Titanfall." In the game, players control the pilot and the mech-style exoskeletons called Titans. The title features both the single player and multiplayer mode.
Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment's "Titanfall 2" is set to be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows on Oct. 28.
