Time Magazine News: Kanye West on the Cover of Issue Listing Top 100 Most Influential People

Time Magazine has recently released their list for Top 100 most influential people, and topping the list, while also on its cover, is none other than Kanye West.

While Time may have some validity as to why West received the number one spot, its highly ironic that the man in entertainment infamous for his ego would win the cover.

Tesla CEO, Elon Musk wrote this excerpt on Kanye's spot:

"The dude doesn't believe in false modesty, and he shouldn't. Kanye's belief in himself and his incredible tenacity - he performed his first single with his jaw wired shut - got him to where he is today. And he fought for his place in the cultural pantheon with a purpose."

Along on this list is Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian. Martha Stewart wrote her excerpt stating:

"Kim Kardashian is a media phenomenon. She has 29 million followers on Instagram and 31 million followers on Twitter, and her E! show, 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians,' is considered appointment TV by a large and diverse audience... Beautiful in an exotic, totally exaggerated way, Kim exudes energy, sexuality, drama, determination, impetuousness and happiness. But she and her famous, entrepreneurial siblings - shepherded by a savvy, tireless matriarch - have also expanded the very definition of family."

Other notable names on the list include Emma Watson, Laverne Cox, Kevin Hart, and Amy Schumer.
