The Rockets battle a worthy opponent tonight, the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Rockets recently lost to the Toronto Raptors by the final score of 107-103 on Wednesday night. James Harden scored 26 points to lead the Rockets to the victory. The Rockets are currently in fourth place in the Western Conference standings. The Rockets are currently on a three game losing streak.

"We're a team that's desperate for a win right now," said point guard Jeremy Lin to reporters. "We've dropped three in a row and it's definitely not a good feeling and we've got a tough one (versus Oklahoma City). We just have to regroup."

The Oklahoma City Thunder recently defeated the San Antonio Spurs by the final score of 106-94 last night. As a result, The Thunder ended the Spurs incredible 19 game winning streak. Kevin Durant scored 28 points to lead the Thunder to the victory. The Thunder are currently on a three game winning streak. The Thunder are currently in second behind the Spurs in the Western conference standings by 3 games. If Durant scores at least 25 points tonight, he will tie Michael "Air" Jordan's record of scoring at least 25 points in 40 straight games set in 1986-87.

"That's a lot of games to be scoring 25 points in a row," said Thunder All-Star point guard Russell Westbrook to reporters referring to his teammate (Durant). "You can't just not think about that. That's an unbelievable stat. I think he may just finish the season doing that. He does that in his sleep."
