'Thor: Ragnarok' Release Date News & Spoilers: Hilarious Preview Revealed At San Diego Comic-Con

"Thor: Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi showed a special "Thor: Ragnarok" preview at the San Diego Comic-Con, offering a comical means to bridge the narrative gap between "Captain America: Civil War" and "Ragnarok."

Titled "Team Thor," the clip teases what the Norse God has been up to during the events of "Civil War." Recently, Marvel released the same clip online for fans who failed to catch it during the Marvel panel at the Comic-Con.

In the clip, Thor explains how he's taking a break from his business as a superhero and shows his new "average" roommate who has been helping him craft electronic mails to Captain America and Iron Man. The hilarious skit also shows the Asgardian prince display his gumshoe work on a white board, keying his devotees into his quest for "the purple man in the floating chair," Thanos, as well as the Infinity Stones. He also lunches with Bruce Banner, during which Tony Stark calls up Hulk for backup. As the clip ends, Thor hardly conceals his dejection and finally decides to form his own team, "Team Thor."

The skit is reportedly one of the bonus features that will be released with the "Captain America: Civil War" Blu-ray and DVD next month. It also hints at the future action that fans of the franchise can expect when the film hits theaters next year.

Since the clip is pure Waititi, it will be interesting for fans to see how much of the director's humor will make it into the "Thor: Ragnarok" film itself.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is set to hit UK cinemas on October 27, 2017.
