'Thor: Ragnarok' News: Filming Features Massive Set On Australia's Gold Coast

New details on Taika Waititi's Marvel Comics film "Thor: Ragnarok" have surfaced.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is assumed to be one of Marvel's biggest 2016 films, with a massive Asgardian set built on Australia's Gold Cost, as per Comic Book Movie. According to the publication, the set is going to be the foundation of the special effects, not to mention that Waititi's film transitions from CGI effects.

With a big part of Asgard in the set, it is assumed that it will not stand for only one scene in the upcoming "Thor" sequel. While it is where Hela walks her army, it may not be the sole case, as per the publication.

Thor is rumored to come face to face with Mad Titan Thanos in "Thor: Ragnarok," according to Cinema Blend. As per the publication, Thanos might go to Asgard in search of the Infinity Stones, in this case, the Tesseract. It is possible for Thor to lose in a presumed epic battle with the Mad Titan, which could lead him absent in "Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1."

It is further revealed that Thanos could just have a cameo appearance in "Thor: Ragnarok," as including him, in addition to Loki and the new villain, would be seen as overkill. Also, Thanos is assumed to take center stage on Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's two-part film "Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1" and "Part 2" in 2018 and 2019, respectively.

"Thor: Ragnarok" stars Chris Hemsworth as the titular hero, Tom Hiddleston,Jeff Goldblum, Idris Elba, Mark Ruffalo, Karl Urban, Cate Blanchett, Anthony Hopkins, Tessa Thomspon, and Lou Ferrigno, among others.

Waititi's "Thor: Ragnarok" is slated to hit theaters in 2017.
