‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers, Cast Rumors: Homecomings, Secrets, Character Return Revelations
New spoilers for the CBS soap opera 'The Young and the Restless' revealed some upcoming events involving the return of characters and their new revelations.
Victor Newman returns to the fictional city of Genoa, bringing with him the results of a paternity test conducted for his granddaughter, Faith Newman. Sources state that Nicholas Newman is in fact not her father.
It is uncertain whether the real father will be introduced in the show and how this information will affect Nick's relationship with his wife, Sharon.
Phyllis Summers also returns to town to find out that her daughter Summer Newman was living with and engaged to Austin Travers, someone she previously introduced as a friend.
Austin is unhappy with the how Summer wasn't being honest to her mother about their true relationship, as the two are actually a married couple.
The news isn't taken lightly by Phyllis, and she is expected to bring more drama into Genoa City because of it.
Meanwhile, Devon Hamilton and Hilary Curtis' liaisons will not remain hidden as they will be caught together by Neil Hamilton, who came with Cane Ashby to New York City to surprise Hilary.
Neil is Devon's adoptive father, while Hilary is Neil's current legal wife.
New episodes also feature Michael Baldwin and Lauren Fenmore working on their relationship, despite the former's medical condition. Joe Clarke will be closing his latest business deal, while Kelly Andrews is still hoping to reconcile with Jack Abbott.
Rumors are circulating that Kelly Sullivan from 'General Hospital' will join 'The Young and the Restless'. Her recurring character, Sage, will make her first appearance on the October 28 episode.
Other updates suggest that Michael Muhney, who played the role of Adam Newman, will be starring in another soap opera, 'Days of Our Lives'.
