Dylan will struggle to let his little son go in the next episode of "The Young and the Restless."

It can be recalled that Dylan's world turned upside down when he learned that Sully was actually Christian. He could not believe that he would have to let go of his child again.

Elsewhere in the episode, Avery had a miscarriage and Chelsea did not tell the truth about Connor's paternity. Just when Dylan thought he already had the perfect family, Sharon revealed the devastating truth to him.

Spoilers for the upcoming episode suggest that Dylan will not give up that easily when it comes to his son and will try to find a solution to his dilemma. According to spoilers, he will come up with a plan and propose it to everyone so they can all have time with the baby.

Dylan will propose a joint custody, thinking that it will be in his son's best interest. There are speculations that he will also seek the help of Nikki when it comes to this battle, and Nick will do the same. However, Nikki will not be sure whether to side with Dylan or Nick.

Some spoilers also indicate that a confrontation will happen between Nikki and Sharon.

Fans will know in the next episode if Nick will go along with the joint custody idea or propose another plan. The episode will also feature the impending strife Dylan and Sharon, whose marriage is already falling apart.
