‘The X-Files’ Revival Episode Titles Leaked Spoilers: Mulder and Scully Reunite; Show Creator Teases New Stories [VIDEO]

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson have reunited as Mulder and Scully for 'The X-Files' revival series Season 6, which returns to the small screen in January, 2016. Meanwhile, Spoiler TV has leaked the episode titles of the upcoming installment of the science fiction horror drama series on Fox online. The titles are as follows:

  •  Episode 1: 'My Struggle' (premiere)
  •  Episode 2: 'Home Again'
  •  Episode 3: 'Mulder & Scully Meet the Were-Monster'
  •  Episode 4: 'Babylon'
  •  Episode 5: 'Founder's Mutation'
  •  Episode 6: 'My Struggle II' (season finale)

Meanwhile, IB Times reports that when 'The X-Files' revial show Season 6 premieres next year, viewers will see detectives Fox Mulder and Dana Scully investigating the bizarre case of a potential alien abductee portrayed by Annet Mahendru. The first look at the characters was recently unveiled on official Twitter account of 'The X-Files.'

Referring to the relationship between Mulder and Scully, David Duchovny recently told Entertainment Weekly, "Mulder's not in a great place. He's wearing bad jeans, so you can just extrapolate from my wardrobe. He's in a dark, dark place."

Meanwhile, Gillian Anderson stated, "I like where we find Mulder and Scully in their relationship," and added that she's equally occupied by the political tone of the story that Chris Carter has conceived for the revival. "I also like the area of zeitgeist that we step in to. It's on point and raises some very interesting issues. And question marks," the actress added.

According to 'The X-Files' creator Chris Carter, the revival series will present brand new stories. He explained, "We're not going to reboot any of the old favorites, although it was something we all thought about. These are all brand new stories. We hope to scare you in brand new ways."

Nevertheless, fans can expect to see a number of old faces as Mitch Pileggi will return as Skinner, while William B. Davis as the wicked Cigarette Smoking Man. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that 'Chuck' star Vik Sahay will appear in an upcoming episode of the mini series. Sahay will portray a man from whom Mulder (David Duchovny) seeks information during an investigation.
