The World's Highest-Paid TV Actress News: Top Paid Actresses Reach a Tie

Some people may only look high on Hollywood movie stars like Julia Roberts or Angelina Jolie Pitt but little did they know that TV actresses get a lot too just like some of the actresses included in the latest Forbes' list of highest paid TV actresses that had two queens of television tied in the number one spot.

And so the number one spot goes to both 'Modern Family' star Sofia Vergara and 'The Big Bang Theory' star Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting as the two earned a total of $28.5 Million in 2015 for their TV shows as well as for their endorsement deals and appearances.

Who knew TV could make this much money? Apparently it does and it makes a lot of it. According to reports, Cuoco-Sweeting even managed to negotiate a $1-million salary per episode of her role on her hit TV show. Meanwhile, of course the famous Colombian actress and bride-to-be, Vergara's role as Gloria in her 'Modern Family' show is obviously the reason why she is also at the top of the list.

Meanwhile other TV actresses aren't too far behind apparently. Going in at the second spot is Vergara's on-screen daughter-in-law, Julie Bowen with a total paycheck of $12 million for 2015 only. Bone star Emily Deschanel however earned $6.5 million while Pauley Perrette raked in $6 million for being on NCIS.

Continuing with the list is House of Cards star Robin Wright who earned $5.5 million and other famous TV actresses like Ellen Pompeo, Mariska Hargitay, Julianna Margulies, Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Kerry Washington, Patricia Heaton, Tina Fey and Zooey Deschanel, all earned between $11.5 and $5 million between June 1, 2014, and June 1, 2015.

So congratulations and good job for the hardworking TV actresses who seemed to have earned every bit of their screening time in their respective TV shows.
