'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' News: Game Of The Year (GOTY) Edition Set For August Release Date
CD Projekt RED's "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is set to get a Game of the Year (GOTY) edition, along with talks about new games to be released by the game developer.
According to Digital Trends, a leak suggests that "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is set to receive a Game of the Year edition, which covers previously released downloadable contents. The new edition is set to be available in several languages and will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows PC.
"The Witcher 3" managed to excel in every aspect, including story arc, voice acting, gameplay, character development, and open-world visuals. With such achievements, it is assumed that game protagonist Geralt of Rivia and his team have become appealing to fans and gamers.
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" might also be the last game with Geralt as the prime character. According to Game Informer, the studio is developing two new game projects, entitled "Cyberpunk 2077" and "Gwent: The Witcher." As per the publication, the latter title could be a deeper version of the game, with the name Gwent.
With the success of CD Projeckt Red's "The Witcher 3" game franchise, game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz extended his gratitude to the game's supporters. In a statement, he said that he was happy to confirm that plans were in motion to release such an edition. As per the game director, they would release more details like the release date in the future.
"In the meantime, I'd like to thank every fan of the game for their support - you're really amazing," Tomaszkiewicz said.
For the time being, it is rumored that "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" Game of the Year Edition will be released on Aug. 26.
