'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' DLC Expansion News: First Update and Downloadable Content Available for PS4, Xbox One, PC
Fans of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, have a lot to look forward to in terms of fresh content being added to the game during this week. The game developers, CD Projekt RED plan to launch the first two free downloadable content packs for the gam.
The game was made available for dome gamers last night, and they are already eagerly awaiting two more pack that will be added each week, starting now.
There are 16 free downloadable content packs in total, which means that fans should have received all of the content by the end of July.
The first two downloadable content packs add new armor for Geralt and his horse, Roach.
There is also a range of new beards and hairstyles available to choose from for Geralt. Early reviews of the title suggest that it will be one of the best games so far for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
There is also a new outfit for Yennefer and a new quest for her as well, included in the first two packs.
There will be larger downloadable content packs coming out this year, which players will be able to get for £19.99, which will add as much as 30 hours of gameplay.
Wild Hunt's update will include several improvements which include better screen triggering and combat balancing.
The patch is over 400mb in size on both the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One and it has already added a 1.02 version for the Sony console.
Fans have reported that the day one update for the Xbox One will necessitate a second patch to fix problems with quality as a result of it.
