'The Witcher 3' Developers Release 'Battle Arena' for Android and iOS Users

'The Witcher Battle Arena' is now available as a multiplayer online battle arena for Android and iOS.

Players can now work together with online friends to defeat their opponents. Initially, the gamer has to choose a character with his preferred skills and strengths. Each character has a flaw and this can be compensated by teaming up with another player who has a character with opposite weakness. The strategy greatly helps in aiming for victory during battle scenes.

In the official announcement of the game released by "The Witcher" creators CD Projekt Red and Fuero Games, the teams discussed the game play. There are two three-player teams that will fight against each other. The goal is to "capture and hold conquest points" in quick but action-filled battles.

The teams shared that the game is solely designed for mobile users. "Battle Arena" mixes instinctive controls with skilled strategies plus speedy fights. The players are promised with a "rich fantasy universe" wherein they can play as a fire-emitting sorceress or a knee-cleaving dwarf.

"The Battle Area" features elements that are similar with "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt." There is also a system wherein players can win elements and unlock tasks without the need for payment.

There are two maps named Nilfgaardian Arena and Korath Desert in the first game type. Players can choose from nine characters originally from "The Witcher." During combat, gamers can discover new weapons and fresh ideas to develop the heroes' abilities.

Good news is players can customize their chosen characters according to their gaming style. The success of the hero depends on the player's ability to modify it. Apple users can download "Battle Arena" on iTunes for free and Android users can get it on Google Play.

The new announcement is a great news for "The Witcher" fans but they are also waiting for the highly anticipated release of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" on May 19.
