'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Spoilers: New Images Feature Some Of Next Season's Characters

While "The Walking Dead" is known for always carrying with it a certain level of expectations going into each new season, it looks like season 7 is the most highly anticipated of all.

One of the reasons why viewers are all hyped for the premiere of the upcoming season is that they are itching to know who Negan's victim was in the season 6 finale.

Viewers know that one of the major members of Rick's group will say goodbye to the series as soon as the next season premieres. The series is still three months away from airing again, but speculations as to who was killed by Negan in the season 6 finale continue to run rampant. In fact, this subject is still one of the most talked about across the pop culture spectrum.

This week, AMC has released new images from "The Walking Dead" season 7 which feature some of the major characters in the series.

The first photo shows Morgan, who, in the previous season, was compelled to kill a human just so he could save Carol. The second image shows Carol, who is joining Morgan in meeting the tiger-toting ruler of The Kingdom, Ezekiel.

The third image features Jesus, who is expected to bring about a mutually favorable alliance between Alexandria and the Hilltop Colony. In the fourth image, Negan looks just as heinous as ever, ready to crush more skulls. The fifth image shows a group of walkers, while the sixth shows King Ezekiel on his throne.

None of the photos reveal who Negan killed in the previous season so fans will have to wait for a few months more to know.

"The Walking Dead" season 7 airs on October 23, 9:00 P.M. on AMC.
