AMC has released the San Diego Comic-Con International key art for 'The Walking Dead' Season 6 and it suggests that viewers will witness a showdown between Lennie Jame's Morgan and Andrew Lincoln's Rick Grimes in the upcoming season of the horror television series.

According to a report by IB Times, the art displays fan favorites like Abraham, Eugene, Tara, Rosita, Carl, Michonne, Carol, Sasha, Maggie, Glenn and Daryl on one side together with Rick, while Morgan is seen followed by Father Gabriel, Deanna, Aaron, Jesse, and Spencer.

In 'The Walking Dead' Season 5 finale, fans saw Daryl bringing Morgan back to Alexandria Safe Zone at the same time as Rick had killed someone. On the other hand, Morgan's changed personality will ensure that Rick and his former friend pick up a fight.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, show executive producer Gale Anne said, "Morgan's story will be interesting because he was clearly a homicidal maniac when we saw him in 'Clear,' and now he's transformed into this Zen warrior and someone who is able to survive, who is able to take on multiple people with his fighting staff, but he's not someone who really wants to have to kill anyone."

She further said, "When he encounters Rick, it looks to him like Rick just killed another human being in cold blood, execution style. There could be some interesting encounters given how their roles have reversed."

Meanwhile, another executive producer Robert Kirkman corroborated Anne's views, saying Rick and Morgan will have an entirely different relationship in Season 6.

Talking to The Wrap, Kirkman said, "And it's the questions of how they're going to interact, how they're going to work together-if they're going to work together-and what comes from those interactions is going to be basically the spine of Season 6."

It can be assumed on the basis of the promo art that the dynamics within Rick's group are likely to change with the return of Morgan.

'The Walking Dead' will return to AMC in October, and the first few episodes will be walker heavy. Photographs from filming location revealed that walkers will be invading Alexandria Safe Zone quite early on in the season, and Rick and gang will have to stop them from capturing their new-found home.
