'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Spoilers, Rumors: Things Get Intense Between Rick And Morgan
This is the season in which the already taut tension wire running through the series might finally snap. Since the trailer that teased Rick against the entire population of humans as well as zombies, fans had been on tenterhooks to see how it will all pan out.
Finally, some photos were released on Sept. 9 that gave them more of a glimpse into what to expect.
AMC whipped fans' appetites up for the soon-to-hit-the-air premiere of season 6 with recently released photos that showed Rick (Andrew Lincoln) in a grim conversation with Morgan (Lennie James).
This led fans to the conclusion that tension between the two might come to a head and break up the Alexandria band.
Other images from the episode, set to be aired on Oct 11, include Rick and Glenn (Steven Yeun) sporting injuries which may or may not have been caused by the restless undead.
Prior to the release of the photos, fans were gifted with Fear the Walking Dead, the revealing prequel that details how things became the way they are in The Walking Dead.
This spin-off, set in Los Angeles, follows the stories of new characters at the time when the world was just beginning to deteriorate.
Dave Erickson, executive producer of Fear the Walking Dead, addressed hopes of a crossover between the two series', saying that while there weren't any plans for it now, it was a case of never say never.
He was quoted as saying to TVLine: "The geography is an obstacle, and frankly somewhere down the road it will become an even greater obstacle,"
